As the new Head of School and as an Old Girl, it is my distinct pleasure to welcome you to this virtual visit of Bermuda High School (BHS).

BHS is justifiably proud of its 112 year tradition of excellence. As the only single sex educational institution in Bermuda, BHS is committed to educating girls aged 5 to 18 to the highest international standards, preparing them for productive and fulfilling lives.

The school is also committed to establishing strong ties with the Bermuda community and to developing a student body and staff that is representative of the diversity of the Island.

It is the aim of the Board and staff at BHS to prepare all students to be well-educated, confident, responsible and civic-minded young adults who are equipped to successfully face the local and global challenges of the 21^st Century.

BHS has established a well-deserved reputation for academic and programme excellence delivered in a nurturing and stimulating learning environment. BHS was the first school in Bermuda to offer the acclaimed International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma programme for students aged 16-18 years and is a member of the Round Square Schools, an internationally renowned organization of schools. Six years ago, with the development of the IB programme, BHS admitted boys to the two year course.
