DOMINICAN SCHOOL KAOHSIUNG, is a Catholic private school which is under the administration of the Dominican Sisters of the Congregation of the Religious Missionaries of St. Dominic. The institution is an international school for Pre-Kindergarten, Kindergarten, and Primary/Middle School.

PHILOSOPHY
    The Dominican School adheres to the philosophy of Catholic Education which states that "a true education aims at the formation of the human person both with respect to his ultimate goal and at the same time with respect to the good of those societies of which as a human being he is a member and in whose responsibilities he will as an adult share."

GOALS
    The Dominican School aims to develop in the youth understanding, commitment to, and internalization of religious truth for spiritual salvation, as well as to develop the intellectual, social, cultural, moral and physical knowledge, skills and values that will enable students to acquire quality education and be effective and productive contributing members of society, through interactive group learning experiences and activities that develop critical thinking, practical use of new technologies, and good citizenship in the country and the global community.

MISSION Statement
    The Dominican School  aims to give a God-centered education, embracing and unifying all facets of human culture, giving primordial interest and importance to the  teaching of Christian life, cultivating the intellectual faculties, developing capacity of right judgment, preparing students for professional life, contributing to the formation of authentic Christians, and to be able to know how to confront life in the present as well as in the future.

VISION Statement
    Dominican School envisions to develop the child into PERSON equipped with functional knowledge and integrated with desirable values, attitudes, habits and skills needed so that he may creatively participate in improving the quality of life for himself and others.
