School description

Futures American School was established in 1998 as a co-educational school following the American Curriculum. Our school is accredited by CITA and sits on two spacious campuses both located in Nasr City.
The school's aim is to empower and inspire all students to define and shape their learning futures, pursue their dreams, and to contribute to society.
We are committed to offering our students a high quality education in a safe and caring environment from KG on to High school graduation.
We believe it when we say:
"No Better Place to Learn"
Our Approach
The school year is divided into two semesters. Our system focuses on developing the students’ characters and their ability to think critically, creatively and logically.
We teach students not only to access information but also to organize and communicate with it using appropriate cutting edge technology.
Based on the United States National Standards, the curriculum is reviewed and updated regularly. A 1-4 grading system is applied, assuring that students are assessed continuously during the trimester.
Evaluation of academic success is not only based on final exams but also includes daily homework, frequent quizzes, tests, group or individual projects, and class participation.
FAS believes in developing the full talents and capabilities of students from their early childhood, so our programs encompass academics, technology, fine arts, recreation, athletics and other activities that are developmental, challenging, stimulating and relevant to their lives.
We are very proud of our behavior modification programs which teach students to care for those around them and encourage them to take responsibility for their actions. Parental involvement and participation is important in achieving success and in the pursuit of our educational mission. Parents are also welcomed to volunteer and take part occasionally in class activities.
Due to global changes in the field of education, FAS is always in the process of updating and improving curriculum, facilities, and activities stressing on personnel development to achieve higher levels of performance.
